About You
Hustle. Problem-Solver. Team Player. We’re looking for an operational expert with experience in working with youth programs to join our team and hit the ground running, building and maintaining a portfolio of 10 (and growing each year!) campus programs for 500+ students. You have an ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute flawlessly and thrive in an environment full of ever-changing priorities. You have a good sense of humour, work well in a team and tackle projects with self-guidance and enthusiasm. While not a requirement, French is a strong asset.
About the Role
Every day is different at Shad Canada. At any given time, you will have direct responsibility for:
• Oversight and management of Shad campus programs for the Western Region
• Lead initiatives to increase effectiveness and scalability of program operations
• Development of pre-program and in-program supports for students
• Development of processes and tools for risk management policies
• Management of parent and Shad participant inquires and issues
• Lead and coordinate centralized curriculum opportunities
• Develop and monitor systems to ensure program compliance requirements are achieved for all campus programs
• Support the summer program admissions process, including bursary allocation
• Support and participate in the delivery of the annual Program Manager meeting
In addition to areas of direct responsibility, you will work with other Shad team members to support funding proposals, government and university relations and events.
For most of the year, this role will have normal business hours. The Shad program runs during the month of July. The Manager, Shad Campus Program, Western Region must be available 24-7 during the month and may also have significant Canadian travel requirements.
