Following the conference, we will be offering two socials in Kingston – a tour of the Kingston Penitentiary, or a visit to Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada.

Please note the following: 

  • Transportation will be provided to Fort Henry. Kingston Penitentiary is within walking distance from campus.  
  • The cost of each social is in addition to your conference registration
  • There are limited spots available! 

 

Kingston Penitentiary

Tours of Kingston Penitentiary offer a rare and unique opportunity to go behind the walls of Canada's oldest and most notorious maximum-security prison. Explore the living and working areas, some dating back to the 1830s. Fort Henry

Fort Henry was built from 1832 to 1837 to replace an existing fortification from the War of 1812 era. a museum and historic site to residents of Kingston and visitors from all around the world. Once inside the wooden gates, visitors enter the realm of 19th century military life, experience guided tours, scenic views, heart-pounding musical performances and precision military demonstrations by the Fort Henry Guard. https://www.forthenry.com/
