Job Description / Duties

We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Ancillary Services to work with University Information Technology for this exciting opportunity.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high quality and responsive ancillary services at the Glendon campus which includes Student Housing, Parking, Food Services, Bookstore and Mail. The Manager, Ancillary Services also supports and is supported by Facilities Services at Glendon to ensure a holistic, consistent service approach to the Glendon community. The Manager is responsible for; Housing Administration and Operations (400 beds) including Property Management and Hospitality. Bookstore and Mailing Services Operations. Parking Services and Food Services. Contributing to the development of the annual update to the Long-Term Ancillary Plan (LTAP). Representing the Director Satellite Campuses as directed. Working collaboratively with various CSBO Directors and subject matter experts to develop long and short-term plans and budgets for the ancillary services, ensuring that plans support the diverse needs of the community.

Qualifications / Required Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A Bachelor’s degree; preference is given to Business Administration and Financial Management. Certificate(s) in Occupancy Management and Revenue Management are an asset. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess a minimum of 3 years recent related experience in business operations management, property management, hospitality with a strong focus on database administration and customer service preferably in a University student housing environment; Enhanced experience managing unionized staff is required. Experience managing a Bookstore, Mailing Service or institutional food service operation is an asset.
