Job Description / Duties

Primary Accountabilities:
• Supports all MSA programming in executing student engagements through initiatives best suited to support the student life cycle. • Builds and leads a team of student experience ambassadors that focus on the execution of experiences concentrating on programming, engagement, and representing the MSA brand. • Oversees a student feedback program; accountable for sharing findings across the MSA while contributing to monthly reports. • Provides knowledge and insight of student engagement strategies while collaborating with MSA Staff, Board, students, and partners.

Qualifications / Required Skills

What you Need in Education, Experience and Training for your Department:
• Post-secondary in Event Management, PR, Marketing or Communications and 2+ years’ practical experience or 5+ years’ experience in an event setting. • Experience in leading a team, providing support and mentoring.
What you Need in Training for Team MSA
• Experience with streaming and video platforms would be an asset. • Experience with technical production (AV) would be an asset. • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Exception organizational and multi-tasking skills. • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
