Job Description / Duties
In this brand new role, our Director of Resident Experience and Campus Relations will provide strong and innovative leadership to the Integris Student Living communities to create and provide rewarding and engaging growth and development experiences for our diverse resident cohorts. You serve as a professional, live-off resource who is responsible for resident experience program development and staff training for all our communities. You will lead in defining our communities as places where students develop a sense of belonging and connection. You will also use your campus experience and navigation skills to build cooperative bridges and linkages with campus and community resources to jointly serve and support our shared students.
Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement a Resident Experience mission and curriculum for a widely diverse group of communities (in College and University environments), build relationships with campus partners to cultivate buy-in, develop and implement trainings for all teammates regarding various aspects of residence life and student development, routinely visit communities, positively engage with staff, students and other stakeholders, serve as an appellate officer for student conduct, participate in branding and promotion of our student experience focus and complete other tasks as assigned.
Additional Expected Responsibilities and Tasks
Directly responsible for professional and student employee training development and implementation.
Directly responsible for building, promoting and delivering a distinct resident experience focused brand in the off-campus marketplace.
Develop and facilitate community-specific training including face to face and online sessions.
Develop and implement curriculum/program evaluations and assessments tools.
Assist on-site staff with constructing meaningful and accessible programs and activities which encourage wellness and supplement the educational, cultural and social development of our residents.
Curate messaging that conveys favorably to parents and stakeholders in resident success.
Coordinate programs, activities and initiatives between on-site staff and campus partners.
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to recruit and train student leaders.
Assist with the review and updates of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations, as needed.
Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the conduct processes.
Attend professional development programs, activities, conferences, workshops and training sessions.
Assist with the opening, closing and inspection of communities as assigned.
Represent the company and our mission credibly to the Student Affairs community.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates will preferably have a Master’s Degree (Bachelor’s required) in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, Counseling or a related field. Professional, live-in experience is preferred. Working knowledge of Residence Life/Student Affairs centered core competencies and best practices is required. Experience and demonstrated interest in helping to create a residential curriculum required. Marketing or other business experience is a plus. This position straddles the worlds of Student Affairs and business and you must be comfortable in both.

Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse organizational issues.
A strong working knowledge of social media outlets as tools to achieve our mission.
Commitment to diversity and social justice; experience in establishing an inclusive residential environment for all residents.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a variety of projects and responsibilities working both independently and collaboratively as necessary.
Demonstrated flexibility, resiliency, creativity, leadership and supervisory capabilities.
