Trinity College is a vibrant and diverse academic community with a rich history and excellent local and international reputation. Since its founding in 1851, the
College has valued and fostered a high level of academic achievement with some 2,000 currently registered students, 450 of whom live at the College. Trinity College grounds comprise spectacular historic buildings, and the College is among the smallest and most prestigious colleges on the St. George Campus of the University of Toronto. Trinity’s campus currently consists of four main buildings and is located in the central Toronto downtown core, steps from the Bloor-St. George subway and Queen’s Park.
Under the general direction of the Director, Community Wellness, the Community Wellness Coordinators (CWCs) will work to support and expand Trinity College’s student-focused supports and programming initiatives. The CWCs will have three areas of focus: organizing high-impact, engaging student-focused programming, connecting one-on-one with students, and providing on-call support in residence.
The CWCs will work closely with the Director, Community Wellness to coordinate the expansion of mental health and crisis supports for students, providing one-onone support to students during business hours and on-call support to the
Academic Dons and the Trinity residence community after hours and on the weekends. The successful applicants will live in one of Trinity’s two residence buildings, allowing for them to integrate themselves into the Trinity community
and to provide timely in-person response and support to emergencies in residence.
Working as part of the Office of the Dean of Students team, the CWCs will help with the development, implementation, and evaluation of high impact programming and initiatives.
Areas of focus for programming and initiatives include: residence life; student life; mental health promotion; transition; and wellbeing.

he CWCs manage the recruitment, selection and hiring process of the Mental Health Peer Advisors (MHPA) and the Wellness and Student Life Programming Assistants (WSLPAs), provide on-going training, supervision and support for MHPAs and WSLPAs, and develop and implement a variety of diverse programs for groups and individuals to promote community development, enhance students’ mental health and encourage personal growth of Trinity College students.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Education:
▪ Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of
education and experience;
▪ Graduate/professional degree or enrolment in a graduate/professional degree in
a related field an asset.
Certifications:
▪ Standard First Aid and CPR C is an asset;
▪ ASIST training is an asset.

Salary: A stipend of $20,600 (includes vacation pay), based on the 2024-25 rate and subject to an annual increase effective July 1, 2025.
