Job Description / Duties

Key responsibilities include:

Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating approximately 50 Door and On-Call Staff (DOCS) · Scheduling staff and ensuring consistent coverage across all residence buildings.
Conducting 1-on-1 meetings, coaching, and performance reviews with student staff.
Facilitating student conduct meetings in response to alleged policy violations.
Designing and delivering training sessions focused on student support, policies, and procedures related to the Residence Community Living Standards (RCLS).
Assisting with the development and review of residence life policies, procedures, and staff resources.
Developing assessment plans and reports on safety and security issues.
Identifying operational efficiencies to enhance student and staff experiences.
Providing administrative and operational support to the RBWM.
Chairing or contributing to portfolios such as RLS Hiring, Training, and Recognition.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Requirements for this live-in position include: a university degree and two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The RBAM brings a strong understanding of restorative practices, conflict resolution, community management, and policy implementation. As a member of the collaborative and dynamic Residence Life Management Team (RLMT), the RBAM serves as a key resource in addressing student behaviour concerns and ensuring timely follow-up across residence communities.



This live-in position requires participation in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule and frequently involves non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Salary: Employee Type: Regular Position Number: 10922866 Classification: P&M FT- Band 03 Professional/Managerial Salary Bands The target hiring salary for this position is minimum and up to 96% of midpoint for the salary grade. *Tentative evaluation; subject to committee review.
