Naloxone and Managing Opioid Overdose

January 18, 2023, 4:00 - 5:00 PM

This hour-long virtual presentation talks about the most recent drug use trends scene locally. It then leads into how a bystander can properly recognize behaviours that place someone at high risk of a drug overdose and why. The presentation continues to introduce nasal naloxone as an overdose antidote and talks about how to quickly identify an opioid overdose. The presentation ends with a proper naloxone training and free naloxone kit distribution if needed.

Presented by Mark Barnes - Owner of Respect Rx Pharmacies
